Nice. My roots are about 20 miles southeast of there. Wynot/Hartington area.....so a Nebraska native.

My siblings and I all moved away when we attended college, and elected not to return. It's a beautiful area, but cannot see myself living there full-time.

I was born in Yankton, grew up on hwy 12 between Wynot and Hartington. Moved to Bellevue later. Wife and I will be retiring in Yankton.

Dad is a Hartington native. Mom & Dad were married in Yankton, so I’ve got both of these locales covered.

Class of ‘46. Legit” leather helmet era” as the new “hard helmets” weren’t handed out until you were a senior. Underclassmen wore leather helmets.

He’s 94 years old these days, and sitting ten feet away from me enjoying the football game.

I'm still in this area and eat at the Green Diamond often lol. Wynot barely has a gas station and Cafe closed. Bow Valley is a funny little town. I live closer to Randolph

We own a cabin up by Green Diamond off of road 898. Right next to the sportsmans. We will have to meet up soon.
