Of course this is a reanalysis of a bygone era, but Stevie P kneecapped himself at the start by waiting a year too long to make the move, and it would have been a similar move to what Kraft made in firing a coach who was just close to a national title. I don't necessarily disagree with Kraft firing Franklin. They gave him the world this year to break through and they went considerably backwards. He of course has run a cluster fuck search which he has to own.
