Sipple reporting that because of the planned renovations, at some point Nebraska is going to have to play a spring game elsewhere becasue of the construction work.
Where would that be?
Seacrest in Lincoln seats 10,000
Omaha Burke has seating for 8,000 plus additional berm seating on the slopes. Would be great PR and continue to build connections in Omaha.
How about the Schwab? That seats 24,000 for baseball. Can that be set up for football? I suppose it could. Isn't that where the Omaha Nighthawks played? I'm guessing this is the answer since no where else in the state comes close to that capacity.
You could introduce real football to all the Jayskers at Morrison Stadium on the Pickle Smoochers campus. Seats 7,500.
None of the state college stadiums come close, with the largest being UNK at 5,250.
Or could you play it at Arrowhead in KC? Is that even legal? Or did out-of-state practice get banned after Jim Harbaugh took Michigan to Italy for spring ball?
