NFL fans in general are terrible. I've had some bad experiences at college games, but it seems like NFL fans are on another level. They are just obnoxious.
I went to a Colts-Dolphins MNF game in Indy years ago with some friends to catch Marino towards the end of his career. Marino got hurt in the 1st quarter and the Dolphins offense only managed 2 fgs and lost 10-6. Walking out about a block from the stadium, this massively drunk fan in a Colts jersey stumbled up to a Dolphins fan and put his arm around him and asked him if he could give him directions to the end zone.... oh, I'm sorry, how would you know?
I have to admit I chuckled at that one.

Yes they are! I'm obviously a Lions fan, but growing up my dad was a HUGE Brett Favre fan. When he played for the Vikings we drove to Minneapolis to see them play the 49ers. My brother's best friend was a huge Niners fan, so we invited him to come too - my brother and him were sophomores in high school.
Favre ended up throwing a game winning TD to Percy Harvin. So many grown men came running up into my brother's buddy's face, yelling and taunting. I didn't even care about the outcome and I about got in a fight over it.
Also, NFL is definitely the worst, but it's just professional sports in general. I'm also an OKC Thunder fan and went down to see them play the Spurs a few years back. My wife was cheering so hard for the Thunder, I thought she was going to get me into at least 3 different fights...

Agreed on NFL fans. I love the NFL but the atmosphere and fans are trash. I've been to enough stadiums where there isn't an exception to the rule.
CFB fans definitely drink and can be stupid but not to NFL level. It's adults that have a few 24 ounce beers and act like first time drunk teenagers.

This has nothing to do with fighting at NFL games but….I’m a Raider fan, will probably never go to a game other than if in LV. Only been to one NFL game, KC v HOU. We were given club level 50 yd line tix, lucky. Watched a dude suffer a heart attack and die 2 rows in front of us. My wife will never go to an NFL game.

Ok…that’s BS. I was at the Vet one year for a game wearing a brand new throwback Harold Carmichael jersey…and almost got in a fight with my own fans because I was “too poor to own a new fucking jersey.” LOL…it was epic and nuts.

NASCAR fans are no where near as bad as NFL fans. I went to a Sunday Night Football game when I use to live in San Diego and the Chargers were playing the Raiders. There were fights and a stabbing 2 sections over from where I was sitting and Raider fans were just harassing anyone wearing Charger gear to include keying their cars.
At NASCAR races, most people are fairly relaxed and the worst that I’ve seen is fans throw beers at the drivers who either wrecked Dale Jr or at hated drivers.

Everything but boxes are filled with pours. Even then, a lot are filled with pours that won lotteries/giveaways at work
Worst I ever saw at a NASCAR race was a guy giving the double birds at Michael McDowell…a guy with one career win and he hadn’t even gotten that win at that time.

By far the worst I've encountered is Chiefs fans. Pure trash. Could be because 95% of them are Methzu/K st douche canoes.
