What are the Husker-related moments you look back at, where you wonder what one thing going differently would have resulted in?

A few that come to mind:

1) 1982 vs PSU, if the refs correctly call PSU's reception out of bounds instead of a touchdown. NU plays for/probably wins a natty.

2) We take Barry Sanders instead of Terry Rodgers at RB.

3) We successfully convince Erick Strickland, Carl Crawford, or Bubba Starling to play football instead of a different sport

4) Shevin Wiggins catches the TD pass that hit him in the chest in the 1997 game vs Mizzou. The game is viewed as merely a close win rather than a fluke, & the Huskers don't drop 2 spots in the ratings, and win the national title outright.

5) 2018 game vs. Akron isn't cancelled. Frost era starts on a major positive note, NU maybe avoids the snakebit mentality, & Frost potentially doesn't spiral out of control.

What else you got?

Considering Scott Frost was 0-14 in season openers or games where an opponent had at least 2 weeks to prepare for Nebraska, I don't believe its a given that Nebraska would've beaten Akron.

But even if he does, it just means Nebraska starts off 1-5 under Frost, and not 0-6.

1. Rumored - What happens if Bob Stoops is hired instead of Solich?
2. What happens if Callahan hired a stud D-Coordinator instead of Coz?
3. If Taylor Martinez doesn't fuck up his foot, what does the record look like?

I like your first 4. Don't think #5 would've made any difference, Frost was a bad HC, one possible win against a MAC team isn't going to change that.

What if Osborne let Solich go to Minnesota instead of promising him the HC job at Nebraska in 2 years? Could've had Osborne for a few more years and had a legit HC search when Osborne retired.

If Cody Green doesn’t bang the gymnastics team, 2009 is a completely different year QB wise.

I never heard about this. I'm intrigued as to what the difference would've been...
