What do we do at QB from here?

I haven't seen anything from Sims that HH isn't capable of doing and HH can handle snaps. No point in playing Sims, he's not the future. At least with Haarberg, he might turn out to be a capable game manager.

I think this would be the best case scenario. A game manager with our defense, would be good enough for 6 wins. We won’t come close to that if we continue to ride with Sims

Don’t think it’s Purdy even though he is supposedly the better thrower

At least HH looks like he has some moxy
Did we get a former high ranked croot to walk on? He can’t be worse. Give him a shot

The replay was Sims. He was short af on that handoff.
I agree he was, but Gabe also tried to grab it with his hands as he cut because of shit OL blocking. He didn’t let it get to him because of the poor OL play.

Looked like he was expecting the ball in the stomach earlier but it hit him in the hands. I’ll have to rewatch bc I initially thought it was Ervin.

Either way, Sims has no feel for the QB position right now in almost any aspect outside his read game vs Minny was great.

That was actually a TE that got blown up on that play. A play design that has a TE blocking the DT is a whole other can of worms to unpack

Good point, I haven’t re-watched it. Just saw the dude blowing up the play and Gabe coming to a halt instead of running into the handoff

“I thought he did really well,” Nebraska right guard Nouredin Nouili said of Heinrich Haarberg. “He came in and knew what he was supposed to do and took care of us, too. I thought he did a really good job.”

Could be an interesting week
