Website issues

Haven't seen any errors on my end lately. Those who've had problems, what do you see when you do? Is there an error message? Blank screen? Does it look like the page finishes loading, or does it just kinda get stuck in the middle?

Last night the page wouldn’t load. It was the standard “page failed to load” browser message. But what was weird is how intermittent it was. It wouldn’t work for ten minutes, suddenly it would, then not again. And also each device would switch off deciding which would work

Intermittent issues are always the most fun to troubleshoot. Anything in the server logs?

Currently it’s working on my phone but not my laptop. It was working on neither a minute ago. Before that it was working on my laptop but not my phone.

I've had this issue on occasion. Only on mobile - it just gets stuck.

Laptop has been fine - always. At least from what I recall.

I was actually having the same issue last night around the same time you mentioned it.

Update - it looks like everything is back to normal but let me know if you have any issues.

If anyone works on websites for a living, or knows someone who does, please let me know. I know enough for day to day stuff and keeping Xenforo up and running but that's about it. We could definitely use someone that knows what they're doing with these more complex errors.

Is everyone experiencing the same issues? I can’t get on one minute, can the next. I can get on using my phone, but not my computer, then vice versa.

I‘m at a loss at what to do to fix this but I’m going to keep trying.

If you have any ideas please shoot me an email at garrett@theplatinumboard.com as I may not be able to access here

Yeah, I've noticed intermittent issues with GoDaddy, even on the upgrade VPS. That's exactly why in the other threads I said I was researching other avenues for hosting; AWS, Google Cloud, etc. GoDaddy is a great host for smaller sites, but even on a dedicated VPS, larger trafficked sites can definitely bog down the CPU usage and ram. Those other companies I mentioned seem to have better scaling options for the price, but a higher learning curve from a UI and dev standpoint.

Have you heard of Namecheap?

Just saw this behavior. Couldn’t load anything on computer. No problem on phone.

It just happened to me too. Some sort of refresh must have happened, if you look at “members online” it only goes back to when it went down instead of the full 60 minutes or whatever it is
