My Dad, who could probably afford any watch in this thread, wore a Casio every day for the last 40-45 years or so of his life.

I asked him for decades if he wanted a nice watch. Nope.
Against those wishes, I bought him a Shinola for Christmas near the end.
He put it on when I came to visit.
I know he wore the Casio every other day.

I have no interest in expensive non-digital watches, but in passing I get it (craftsmanship, quality, etc are off the charts)

So I have the Samsung 8 Ultra. It's just way more functional and helps me justify the cost.
