Vehicle Dilemma

Tell me about your starting troubles OP. Is your truck gelling up or just not starting? Are you plugging the block heater in? Are you using #1 diesel?

It's done both. It's pretty standard diesel winter time stuff, nothing out of the ordinary. It's just annoying as hell. Plug in, yes. Have used Diesel #1, but only at Hyvee by me. Which had some water in it last winter when it gelled on me. The Fantasys right next to me is very well known to have water in their fuel in the winter so I avoid that when it gets cold enough. Have not used the truck stop #1 because it's quite a bit out of my way. There's a new Love's across the highway from where I work but that is loaded with semis at the pump and I don't want to be a nuisance to them in the winter time, and their fuel is the most expensive.

Do you have a plug for your Diesel? On my Duramax I just plugged it in below 30 degrees and never had any issues. F150's are ok I guess. If you are still going to tow once in a while I would look into the chevy/gmc with a 6.2 gas motor. Powerful enough to tow, okay on gas and you don't have to deal with all the diesel issues.

Those that continue to buy huge trucks and pay for diesel and don’t tow a thing at this point need a psych eval IMO. Impossibly stupid but you gotta let everyone know how small your dick is lol

Absolutely nothing wrong with them. Doesn't quite wiggle the weiner like a diesel does lol but they're absolutely just fine. Was talking to my dad about it the other night, and it would just almost feel like a stage of life that I didn't think would come so fast but is actually here. The I'm 30 with kids and my Friday nights consist of oven pizza and falling asleep on the couch at 9:30, if I made the move to a newer F150.....I turn 30 next month lol
I'm 54...kids outta the house...drive a 2015 Chevy 2500 gas engine

Good chance I'd be divorced now, but part of me wishes I would have done that Ranger last year when I had the chance. Wife was not on board at all
Over $100?
Making that your daily driver would have been a wash in the difference in monthly fuel costs
& you still could have kept the Diesel for farmin’.
Don’t sell the Diesel if you need it for the farm unless your trying to get ahead of a repair. If a hefty repair bill is on the horizon, I don’t understand the dilemma.

What you gettin
My wife’s out of town so it’s just me and the boys, and I just coached my oldest’s basketball practice while holding my youngest. It was great.

Anyway. I got a spicy sandwich and I got them nuggets and Mac and cheese.

Sounds like a great night. A meal out for under $30, hang out with the boys, off to bed then you can watch history channel documentaries while nodding off on the couch. Pretty much my ideal night tbh
