Ummm...are we gonna be ranked?? (Answer: Yes)

Cockeye State and Michigan are both way too high. I know that no one is going to dock Michigan a ton for losing a game they were dogs in, but they look like pre-Stalions Michigan
 
We will be ranked, should be about #20 in my opinion, but we probably won't be that high. If we would have pounded Colorado in the second half like we should have, we would be. Keep earning our way, one game at a time. There is no "we're gonna be 7-0"....only 3-0 will do. This week's CFB games should drive that point home.

We actually might get zero hype after this win which I'm 100% good with. And we'll still get zero hype vs Northern Cockeye.

I saw that.

It's still not going to be a full court press this week though. I scanned about 5-6 national CFB podcasts this morning and there's not a lot of buzz for Nebraska yet. There's just a ton of "Colorado sucks" and "Nebraska was bad in the 2nd half" takes. Hell, a couple of the national pods I saw didn't even include the NU CU game in their review (it wasn't a ranked team game).

Yeah, Mandel threw us in his Sept 8th CFP projection....meh. We're not gonna get a ton of hype these next 2 weeks UNTIL we beat Illinois on 9/20.

Bottom line - most people are pretty guarded in their praise for NU. A lot didn't like our 2nd half. But most just don't think Colorado is any good.
 
We've now surpassed the peak ranking of the Scott Frost era. Thank you to such teams as Kansas and Cockeye for holding our spots in the rankings these last 10 years but your services will no longer be needed. We aren't going anywhere!!
