I've heard on the radio that at most of his stops Dana has had an inside recievers coach and an outside recievers coach. In fact, Dana himself was an IWR coach during his time at Texas Tech. This could be a good way to bring in the new guy as one of those and have McGuier fill the other one. That way it doesn't look like to anyone (primarily thinking of the croots GM is in on) like McGuire has been demoted or sidelined, while still getting a more experienced voice and mind in the WR room.
