The real problem is their soft schedule. They needed more out of conference games to toughen up during the year. Getting by with playing all those weak SEC teams didn't prepare them for the playoff.

Soft schedule and consider playing 9 conference games. Iron sharpens iron and I happen to think the grind would help SEC teams.
CFB has changed greatly in 2 years. There will be a higher number of "different" schools making the semifinals going forward...I think.

Beating the shithead oil drinking self entitled narcissus mother fuckers from Austin in the SEC Championship was a nice touch this year. Wildest year for Dawgs game to game somehow winning most. Just hate that the record against Notre Dame is now 3-1 Dawgs and not 4-0. Also, have to deal with my Irish in laws now.
