We gotta get to minimum 7/8 wins this year to keep him here IMO
While this might be true what bothers me the most about this concept is Dylan himself shouldn't get a free pass in his role in those wins happening. Going forward he needs to be accountable just as much as any other player on the team.

Raiolas biggest priority is getting to the nfl as quick as possible not winning an CC or NC. He came to Nebraska to play as a true freshman. If he grows in year 2 and show potential he doesn’t leave his guaranteed starting spot at a school that will never bench him.

I dont know it is is about wins as much as it is about him being successful. I think he stays as long as he is successful, throwing for like 3500 yards, 25 TDS, being in Heisman talks, top draft pick talks, etc.

I would assume Nebraska would have at least 8-10 wins in that scenario, but the simulation may say hold my beer and give us like a crap defense as we lose games 45-42.

It will end Rhule's tenure if the defense becomes that bad.

Our defense will be very inexperienced next year. I’m hoping it will be more talented than this year’s but there’s nothing right now that can confirm that.

Maybe the opposite will happen next year. I thought the defense would be great this year, but become below average given the amount of experience returning.

Gramstad is out of eligibility unless they say naia doesn’t count😂 4th would be longval from iwcc. But in all seriousness Heinrich would be the emergency qb if ever needed
Are you sure? I am pretty sure Gramstad does have another year. I heard or read somewhere (can’t recall where) that he wants to come back but he is waiting to hear from the coaches if they will have room for him.

Did some research. When he transferred here he had one year of eligibility left. But he also had a redshirt available. Since he only played in one game, this year was a redshirt for him. So I think he would be able to play one more year.

And maybe you’re joking about NAIA not counting, but if the argument is that junior college doesn’t count because it’s not under the NCAA umbrella, I don’t know why the same logic wouldn’t apply to NAIA.

Your first sentence is why I think he leaves if we don’t get to at least 7 or 8 wins fwiw. If he’s a QB with 12 wins in 2 seasons his draft stock won’t be as high as it could be if he gets weapons around him and goes to win 10 somewhere.

If he goes 3500 and 25 TDs we are at 9 or 10 wins so we’d be good. Simulation sucks.
