Twice I've seen Eagles swoop down and pull fish out of the water. Fucking amazing. Merica!!!! Both times were good sized Carp that they snagged. Flew into a tree nearby and ripped the Carps Throat out killing it. Generally munched on it for a bit and then flew off with the remaining part of the Carp. Saw an Eagle swimming out in front of my place one day for about 15 minutes. Literally swimming around like a Duck sometimes laying it's wings out flat on the water flapping them. Then flew up in a tree and cleaned itself. At first I thought it was injured so ran to the internet to see if they were swimmers. Shocked to find out they occasionally do that.
