It does suck. Conference realignment to the extent it's going on now is absurd IMO. CFB is watering down the product in a very bad way.

I live on the West Coast and the most ardent fans of USC and UCLA are not excited about moving to the B10. Their alumni base predominantly lives on the WC, the natural rivalries they do have are with P12 teams, and they feel like they don't feel any fit with the B10.

If I could wave a magic wand, I'd return NU to the Big8 where we had natural rivalries, the schools were relatively good fits to each other, and the fan base could easily drive to most destinations. Especially on the "good fits to each other" point, NU was much more Big8 than B10. I don't care for any of the schools in the B10 and have always felt like we were the odd man out, much like USC/UCLA will be.
