That was the last game my Dad and I attended together. I thought the place was going to explode when Alex Henery’s kick cleared the crossbar, and seeing Suh ragdoll Cody Hawkins was the icing on the cake. Great memory.
Dad still enjoys watching Husker games, but from the comfort of his lift chair. At 95, I’m glad he’s still here to cheer them on.
