I remember someone showing me a video from a UNL house party, I think around 2013 or so. This guy in video did acid or something, was tripping bad, gouged out his eyeball with a spoon and ate it. Then just stared off into space with his one remaining eye, looking real high.

Very disturbing video. The guy showing me got it on Snapchat from a friend at UNL, and someone else got a similar but not identical video from that night, so we were convinced it was real. But looking back it so bizarre and nightmarish it's hard to believe.

Ughhh, that video was kinda personal to me too. In Chicago one of our cooks was in a Latino Gang and was jumped by their rival gang. Not only did they beat the shit out of him but they also ripped out one of his eyes. When he came back obviously had an eye patch and showed us what the eye looked like, and I'll never be able to unsee that. I believe his plan was to eventually get a glass eye. Saw lots of crazy shit with the gang or ghetto violence involving our staff. One waiter had 2 sons shot in separate incidents. 1 dying and the other almost dying. Our waiters brother extracted revenge killing the person who killed his nephew. He's serving a life sentence. We had to make sure not to hire employees from rival gangs.
