Did Doc go off the deep end? I can remember Covid being a huge concern for him and I think he would watch practices from the stands or at a distance. Seemed to me he was one of the faces of our basketball program until Covid hit.

Statistically speaking is Deion wrong? Aren't men who grow up in a "traditional" household less likely to commit crimes, be suicidal etc etc? I'm pretty sure I read those statistics fairly recently.

Deion is exactly right on this. It's one of the best predictors of being in a leadership position across all fields.

Being right is never the issue. It's how it's said. He could have said I prefer my qb to come from a 2 parent household and gets A's in school, etc. Still would have been some crying but maybe not as much.

I believe he said both parents involved with the kid. Not necessarily that they were still married.

It's all stupid anyway. His point was perfectly fine.

Kind of. There's a relationship but single parent households are correlated with all kinds of other bad shit that it's not really clear what the causal mechanism is
