Oh Rockford, how I didn’t miss thee.

Biggest shithole I have ever lived in. So depressing, and dangerous. I moved out of their the day after my daughter left for college, and have never been back. Only thing that kept me sane was living on the Rock River so I could go boating, kayaking and fishing. They should just put a fence around half of the city and throw government cheese over it to feed them. City is populated by crazy animals. I knew a bunch of the cops there and their stories were scary and depressing.

Yeah, I haven’t been back after moving in 05’. My ex wife is from Rockford but she grew up in a gated community outside of town. She was still absolutely crazy.

I did enjoy golf at Forrest Hills though.

She was a pastor’s daughter at RFA. Rockford First Assembly. My sister was a teacher at the parochial school there. I can’t remember the name of the school. Christian Life I think.
