What was the deal out of high school? Couldn't make grades?

I think Rivals had a write up on him. Basically said he had a couple growth spurts and was in an area that was under recruited. Not sure if grades were an issue or not. Watching his highlight reel he is a large thick human being. 6-7 350 lbs. Not the most
ile but I could see the right S&C going a long ways for him. Has a couple lesser school offers right now.
