Woof, this would have chapped my ass if true. No way the boys would have allowed this. Shaina sat in with them for a fundraiser last month but they didn't play under the name Soundgarden. She's sang with some big names but I will be crushed if they end up putting her in as permanent lead singer under the name Soundgarden. Matt doesn't need this as he is still full time with Pearl Jam and I can't see him supporting her as lead of Soundgarden

I don’t think Matt would tour with them if they did this, he’s already do busy with PJ. She’s an awesome singer though

Agree. Plus he has some shoulder issues. Matt is such a perfectionist and practices as much as any musician I have been around. Playing for both PJ & Soundgarden was hard on him so they actually had to cut back some on the touring. He's also a very cool chill dude. So down to earth and you would never think he was a rock star. There were never worries if he wanted to venture out of the hotel without security as few recognize him plus he is a family man so he wasn't out partying. For SG people very rarely recognized Ben or Matt in public. Chris obviously stood out and had full time security. Kim would be recognized by some people. I think Chris would still be alive if it wasn't for his wife. She was known as one of the biggest bitches in the music world. Nobody liked being around her when she would be with the band on tour. Just non stop problems, drama and bitching. Chris deserved better but he was in love with her.
