Yep. They have a miniature model of what it looked like at the Durham Museum. Cool part of Omaha’s history that quickly disappeared.

They were made from what was essentially "Plaster of Paris" just for the World's Fair. When the "New Madrid" fault buckled ... hard ... forcing the Mississippi River to flow BACKWARDS for the first time in modern, recorded history, the shock was so strong it Literal Lee shook the "buildings" to the ground. Thus endeth our moment of glory on the global stage.

It's also why I carry an earthquake rider on my homeowner's policy.
