Yea, nobody's walking away from that. But the civil case is going to be pretty lopsided against the person who shoots another human with one of those. Personal defense shootings are more palatable to the courts if you simply stick with what the cops use - it's an easy standard to point to.
With that said, in case of complete societal collapse, I'll take a thousand rounds or so for the vault.
