TPB golf outing 9/16 (Friday of OU game)?

Hey everyone, I posted this in the golf thread but wanted to put something out here that’s more visible. Thinking of getting a TPB get together going before the OU game. Maybe a round of golf and then drinks at G25. If there is interest we will put things together. Let me know if you’re interested.

Any suggestions for where to play? Im out of state now so idk what’s good in the area. I usually play the city courses when I’m back in town bc I feel like everything else has gone private and TBH the Lincoln city golf is pretty damn good for munis.

I used to work maintenance at Holmes a lifetime ago so I’m always partial to it, but tbh I haven’t really played much golf in Lincoln. Highlands could make sense if you’re wanting to stay closer to downtown, or if people are really open to traveling we could do Iron Horse or Quarry Oaks in Ashland.

My oldest (step) son lives a few blocks from Highlands aka “High Winds”……hope that helps. 😄

Would love to, but doc recommends no golf and skiing due to degenerative discs in my back.
