I will say - and has been the book on him the whole time - but when they asked him if he wants his D to be aggressive (fucking all time dumb question btw) and he takes the opportunity to essentially say “I like to think I’m a pretty aggressive guy, and my defense will be an extension of me” that got me a partial. You always want your DC to be the lunatic of the staff, and I think we knocked THAT trait out of the damn park

Really? I give him slack since it’s his first one and it’s OK to have some nerves, but I thought that was a bad presser. His answers were all over the map, he skirted some questions, used “at the end of the day” about 50 times. Sounded like someone who was very knowledgeable but had a hard time communicating what he knew and on top of it was nervous.

I’m sure he’ll get better at pressers, but I’d call that one clunky at best.

tbh the coverage was soft but the blitzes dialed up were great. the players just didnt get to the qb a majority of the time. couldve been even better.
