We are up by 6 with under 1 minute left in the game with the ball at our own 20. We have to punt. Ball goes over the punters head into the end zone and he decides he is going to kick it out of the back of the end zone for a safety. He completes whiffs the ball, Northwestern recovers for a TD and wins the game.

15 yard KO return average...so basically we get to the 20 instead of the 25....dumb.

Was offering an Australian punter sight unseen based on the recommendation of a guy who wasn't even a full assistant a mistake?

We go up by 6. Let’s say 26-20 with 1:00 left. NW kickoff return TD, 27-26 NW. Offense drives down and leaves culp with a 30 yard FG to win it. Culp nails it but FALSE START. 35 yard FG to win it. Culp misses, but wait there’s a roughing the kicker! Do over! But wait there’s also a hold on the kicking team. Offsetting. Another 35 yarder to win it! Culp makes it, but wait NW called their last timeout before the snap. 35 yard we to win it blocked.

I'll go with us returning a kick/punt for a TD that's called back because of a hold/block in the back.

Being offsides may be a more appropriate penalty.
