Sam McKewon was on Sharp Show and said Corc was an NFL guy. Curious if you see that potential as well.

And, if Corc can be a decent guard (potentially nfl caliber) , why not just leave him there? He clearly sucks at tackle and has a lot of tape to prove it. There can’t be a worse drop off if we put Banks in, right? why be shitty at two positions when you can only be shitty at one?

We do a decent amount of tackle over, but I don’t think we’ve done a lot of 6 man line.

I’m pretty sure that last week we had at least one short yardage situation with 6 lineman on the field and Grant got tackled behind the line of scrimmage

We seem to do a lot of the tackle over thing though. I’ve never seen a team do that before this season

2 of my buddies played O Line at KU and in the NFL. Both of them watched Corc play in high school in Lawrence. I quizzed them when we were recruiting Corc and they agreed he suited to be a top level OT in college and his future would be in the Interior on the college level and beyond.

They also questioned his motor and nastiness to an extent as he played a bit soft in high school. But they also defended him saying that it was hard to get excited when you were playing against smaller inferior competition. Many times they just got tired of beating on some poor sap so would go easy on them physically when it was an obvious mismatch. No reason to physically abuse some poor kid who was slower, weaker and weighed 80 lbs less than you.
