S&C takes some blame for sure, but we’ve recruited well enough on paper to field at least a bowl bound team each year. Scott and his Merry Men have fucked up more people in 5 years than the crack epidemic. The transfers and non contributors over the years, my god.

This can’t always be “unlucky” or “bad scheme fits” this is players getting here and seeing how it’s being run and them saying “holy lord what a pile of shit. I’m out.“ This is players seeing how fucked the personnel calls have been over the years. “You mean if I run 150 yards in this game, you won’t see me again until late in the season in garbage time?” There is a deeper reason why (I’m not football smart enough) our players always seem like they’re learning football for the first time, every fucking game. Hell, just yesterday we had a false start from a lineman who was, what looked like, peeking up to see if the guy in motion made it to the other side. Is that normal? No clue but it looks like shit and we play like shit and get penalized according.

That’s 5 fucking years of wasted time. Goddammit I’m getting riled even typing this.

The timing with the transfer portal makes this a good year (last year would have been better). There is no limit to # of transfers coming in. After this year the 25 new player limit will be back in effect. Only rule that applies this year is the 85 scholarship limit.

We could literally fire everyone and bring in 85 new players. Obviously that's not going to happen but there should be well over 25 between recruits and transfers.
