Based on Simulation Theory, though, whichever path we take is the wrong one.I hope so, but we all know how things usually go for us.

This is true. Honestly it’s almost liberating knowing that there is no correct answer for us.Based on Simulation Theory, though, whichever path we take is the wrong one.
How will he get to a 400 LB body like ol' Veal Cutlet had?We have a former QB as our DL coach. That's rare, right?
Nah he’s terrible like the other hiresNot everyday you see a former QB become a DL coach.. He must be a really great teacher or film guy to be in his position.
probably a reason okam is at toledo of all places...On the other hand, I actually Love this hire. This is where you develop those NFL guys to go do it on their own.
Would’ve loved Okam or Robinson as DC and DL with Snow at the same AHC role to cover his crossover.
But this one is explainable and makes sense.
Agreed and I like this hire as well. Only downside is not coming with any recruits or transfers. I'm honestly curious what Rhule's plan is after brining in Bradden and Promoting Butler, to get D linemen here.On the other hand, I actually Love this hire. “Want to be like Chris Jones? Here’s a guy who coached him daily”Agreed and I like this hire as well. Only downside is not coming with any recruits or transfers. I'm honestly curious what Rhule's plan is after brining in Bradden and Promoting Butler, to get D linemen here.

As I've been saying, your position coaches need to be from places like Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Miami etc. Or if they're not from there, have deep ties there like Shorts/Houston.
Hiring Bradden and Simpson is like a bat signal to the Miami kids (like Bootle).
The main annoyance I have with NU fans now is the "we better hire a big name" line of thinking. You see it on message boards and Twitter. Any time there's an opening it's "Rhule better hire a big name or I'm gonna scream my disapproval"Go back and look at the thread when TK was hired originally. People were bitching about him too, now he’s irreplaceable in some people’s minds.
barry lunney is not a no name OC. especially in the football world... he had 2 pretty damn good years at utsa and has done well enough at illinoisThe main annoyance I have with NU fans now is the "we better hire a big name" line of thinking. Funny thing is, we've been getting our dicks knocked in the dirt by no-names for 10 yrs now. The Illinois OC completely de-pantsed us on national TV but we would have rioted if Rhule hired him. Cignetti would have gotten 20k RTDB guys to cancel their STHs if we hired him.
Meanwhile guys like Frost were the biggest name that yr and they didn't work out. The 1 yr hot OC/DC is sometimes not the best way to go.
It's actually nice to NOT get the flavor of the month. Most of the programs that regularly beat us don't get those and they do pretty fuckin well without them.
