Tendonitis in ankle

Has anyone ever had to deal with this? I'm having really bad ankle pain and am struggling to walk. I got x-rays done yesterday which all came up negative, so went to a foot and ankle doctor today who said it's probably tendonitis or gout. I'd like to know how to get it to go away quickly so that I can start walking again 🤣
Ankle or Achilles?

Getting older sucks, huh?

Seriously though, I've been battling freaking sciatica for the better part of a week now. Never experienced this before but it sucks! Shooting pain from my right glute down my leg to mid-calf. Early on, it hurt so much to stand that at church I had to sit down because I thought I was going to throw up. Can't sleep because I can't find a position to lay where my leg isn't in pain. Been to the chiropractor twice this week and it's getting a little better, but it's sure taking its sweet time...
feel for ya brother. Battled that myself and it sucked. Took a few months of physical therapy to get rid of. Still comes back every now and then. What really helped me was doing toe touches/stretches where I had my legs crossed. Docs were worried it could become permanent. I literally fell down numerous times from it. Mainly when I was carrying stuff upstairs.

Foot issues are no joke. Both the wife and I battle plantar fasciitis. Now I have ankle impingement, which is extremely painful if you land wrong.

Scheduling myself with the ankle ortho to get it fixed. You'd think vigorous exercise 5-6 days aweek would pay at least some dividends.

My wife swears by Hoka shoes FWIW. I guess they make dude shoes too. Thought you were young?

Hokas are terrific. Lots of support & padding that helps with issues from feet to back. I used them exclusively in my marathon & triathlon training, and they seem to be the shoe of choice for doctors & nurses.

Would definitely recommend for anyone possibly having issues related to wear & tear on joints & soft tissue in the lower body.
