I say put your wife’s, daughters and dogs name on your neck. Let people know who youd kill for. Or a paw print around your eye like Iron Mike.

Sign Up Now!Need a little bit of advice/guidance. Don't have any tattoos. My wife's side job's connection is opening a tattoo shop in Papillion here soon. She's going to get scheduled for one once they open up. I've had the intention of getting something to honor my dog that passed in May, that I had a full on thread about at the time. Life just seems to keep getting in the way of pulling the trigger. I'd like to eventually get something of my daughter and wife as well, but honestly something to honor my dog has been at the top of the tattoo list for me.
I'd like to do something significant with like a portrait type deal. I know the picture I want, just don't have any experience with how those usually turn out. My wife advised a standard paw print with some writing, but it's way too important to me than just a standard one.
Anyone have any experience with these kinds of tattoos and how they usually turn out?
To give some context, it's a picture of him in the backyard about a year-ish ago, one of the lasts photos where he looked healthy and overall happy. It would certainly be a detailed tattoo. Thinking upper arm as I don't want it to be a big deal at work.
This is exactly what I was looking for and it looks great! I was going to add his dates below his name, but other than that, exactly. Thank you so muchSorry for the nip slip. I had this portrait done a few years ago after my dog passed away. I had seen a portrait of an animal an artist and done for a coworker of mine. Once I got his name, I then checked out his work, specifically animal portraits. Some artists may have amazing work in some areas, but not other areas. I would definitely ask around and then check out their work, but keep it to animal portraits. You'll love it. I love mine. I showed the artist a picture and then kind of just let the artist do a sketch with what they thought was good based off my picture. Definitely say what features are important and that you want emphasized.
I just noticed a couple blonde dog hairs that were on top of he tattoo. Just ignore those since it's not actually a part of the tattoo.

I thought about the dates, but then decided against it. I also thought about just doing the years instead of the whole date. You're welcome! I had mine done at Mojo's in Lincoln by Tanner. Took about 4 hours. This is exactly what I was looking for and it looks great! I was going to add his dates below his name, but other than that, exactly. Thank you so much
Missed the part where I obsessed over kids playing a game. You can generally find me poking fun of those “tat” doSome people think it's odd for grown men to obsess about college kids playing a game, yet here you are.
Never yuck another man's yum.
Why?Just an odd thing to want to do
