Watching that Clemson-GT game, their o-line looked awful and their QB reminded me of Martinez. They didn't want to throw it down field, swing passes for days, holding the football too long, fumbling, etc. Never thought we'd get Dabo but he appears to have issues with his offense for the past year. That defense is still damn good tho.

I don't think Dabo was ever on the table. Never made sense.
Of course they at least inquire about previous Head Coaches that had a proven, long-term winning history. We know that list of names. Probably won't be one of those guys either, but at least they are more realistic as they don't have current coaching jobs.
The upper tier list of other coaches that we would definitely be interested in - probably one of those guys is more realistic.
But who really knows who we end up with. I do know if we don't go big on the next hire, we might as well not try. Gotta be willing to throw out 5 years contracts with 10 mil or higher numbers per year to get top coaches. If we go with an unproven up and comer, we are asking for problems rolling the dice like that IMHO. Go big or go home.
