So they go offense/defense and no real tackling for Spring Game?

It’s really no surprise why we struggle and can’t develop anybody.

We’ve missed out on 4 years worth of bowl practices and games. This team needs as many live to the ground reps as it can get.

So Scott trots the boys out for a game of 2 hand touch. Improving!

You know that they are limited in how many full contact days they can have in the spring, right? I know it sucks for us as fans, but saving a full contact day for a regular practice is a much better idea.

Yep, way too much bitching about a controlled scrimmage but our fanbase is embarrassing and never surprises me.

The thing is, we CAN tackle today because we haven’t used our full 8. We are choosing not too.

We’ve been practice heroes for 4 years now let’s start doing it when the lights are actually on.

Yeah we’re live tackling in the second half so your “saving it for a regular practice” means nothing.

At least our walk ons who never see the field in the fall will get to work on their tackling

That's fine, I suppose, although some folks above have mentioned that you're not really correct on this point. Regardless, let's assume your point stands. It will mean our Spring Game becomes much more like other college's over time: boring, little fan interest, and not something that attracts recruits. It's a trade-off that Frost and his advisors will have to consider. I just can't imagine ever paying to go view that in person. I certainly have no interest in viewing it on TV.

I DVR'd it and was going to watch it tomorrow. I know several of you have asked, but I will be providing my grades and breakdown by Monday evening.

Just kidding, no one asked and I'd never do such a thing.
