I added the incoming signees which puts us at 91. Some of them might not be in the position they eventually play and I will adjust that as time goes on. But what do we need to focus on now to make '23 better?

A: Is Garrett Nelson returning?
B: The transfers we took were mostly young, should we add a veteran at spots of need? (TE, DT, OT)
C: We will need a bunch of attrition eventually and especially if we add even more dudes as mentioned in point B.
D: Spots that look ready for attrition are QB, RB and DB.

Rhule has done a fantastic job, still need more help on oline and dline. Fidone is ready to play. Need 3 qbs to leave 2 dbs. I feel we will need all the running backs we can get. Rhule is gonna pound the rock next year behind a much improved offensive line.

Any offensive line and TE. Maybe another DT.
Agreed but they need to be the ready made starter type. (Junior or Senior) A TE might be easier to find than an OL or DT one of those.

Need OT, C, and DT transfers in. Maybe some additional portal guys or JUCOs for depth. An ILB or two that are ready to play Day 1 are also needed since Hen and Reimer are made of fucking glass. TE is a spot where we need two portal guys or at least JUCO. That room is fucking trash rn.

They also have some thinning out to do. 91 kids..
Yep. A lot of dead weight that needs to be dumped. They need to do whatever it takes to get some of these guys to transfer

Who leaves at QB?

I think HH Purdy and possibly Torres. Smothers will have to be kicked off the team before he leaves imo

Is Torres dead weight? He was coming off of ACL surgery. Not sure what to think about that.

We're going to need QBs that can be effective runners. He's a bit of a statue with a history of knee injuries, not sure he fits that bill.

That’s a good list…nut cutting season here?

No RS freshman or sophomore tackles? No RS freshman guards?

That seems….problematic at those positions. Good job, Scotch.

I thought he was a mobile kid. I know he’s tall. I don’t know much about him

Hard to envision a roster that will keep 10 safeties, especially with 5 of them in our largest current class.

I do wonder if an increase in roster size is on the horizon, with the NCAA slowly going away, & the transfer portal available.
