Following Peetz has been like watching a YoYo. SMoke seems to have Gundy going to OSU with his brother.

Maybe Rhule is playing 3D Husker Checkers as he ain't hiring a WR Corch cuz he wants to get in good with Run Da Dam Ball Husker Fans. Might be the only way to get approval from some fans.

Don't we just keep Ron Brown in a closet somewhere for these situations? And no, the irony is not lost on me.

We need to hire a Fullback coach to show we are really serious about running the damn ball.

Unless Mike is firing Rattay. Doubt there's room at the Stillwater Inn

Dang, my bad. Someone posted a Twitter Post that said Cale was probably joining his brothers staff as the QB Coach. Hope it is wrong and we get him cuz he is a stud coach and recruiter. He was one of the finalists for the OU job before Venables got it

Jim Trabor is a well-known former Okie St baseball star who is a sports radio guy in Tulsa. But it's clearly not offically confirmed.

That I don’t know. Was told it wasn’t a money issue and he loves Rhule. Was a family decision.
Last thing I remember, I was
Running for the door
I had to find the passage back
To the place I was before

You can check out any time you like
But you can never leave"

Jake Peetz was once thought to be a lock to join Matt Rhule’s coaching staff at Nebraska. That is no longer the case, multiple sources told HuskerOnline.
Peetz, an offensive assistant with the Los Angeles Rams, will remain in that role after considering a position at Nebraska, according to sources.

Peetz likely would’ve served as quarterbacks coach. On Friday, Rhule announced two new members of his coaching staff but still has three spots left to fill. On Nov. 30, ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported Peetz was expected to join Rhule’s staff at NU.
Rhule’s connection to Peetz stems from their one season with the Carolina Panthers in 2020.
A native of O’Neill who lettered as a walk-on long-snapper at Nebraska in 2005, Peetz in 2021 served as LSU’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

Jake Peetz has learned from some of the best

The 38-year-old Peetz’s extensive coaching background includes two stints as an offensive analyst at Alabama, the first time in 2013 and the second go-round in 2018.
Legendary Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban had a profound impact on Peetz.
“He told me if you want to be great in this profession, you need to learn and understand defense at a very high level if you want to be good on offense,” Peetz said in a January of 2021 interview.
A graduate of St Mary’s High School in O’Neill, Peetz worked a total of eight seasons as an assistant in the NFL and five in the NCAA, most of which were spent as a quarterbacks coach.
Peetz was hired by Oakland in 2015 as an offensive assistant following NFL stops at Washington (2014) and Jacksonville (2008-12) and collegiate stops at Alabama (2013), UCLA (2007) and Santa Barbara (California) City College (2006).
It appeared he would be heading back to the college ranks, in Lincoln. It isn’t happening, though. So, NU now must fill presumably two spots on its offensive coaching staff, and one the defensive staff. The Huskers announced defensive coordinator Tony White and offensive line coach Donovan Raiola as staff members Friday.
