Signing Day Thread

I am definitely on the record over the years fighting our Incestuous Hires of everything Nebraska. I want the best coach available. I understand taking pride in representing your university but have grown tired of us hiring underqualified coaches because they had ties to Nebraska. With that being said I was 100% behind hiring Joseph & Busch as I felt they were more than qualified plus know as good Power5 Recruiters.

But it has opened my eyes a little when I listen to Joseph speak about Nebraska and Football. He has a true passion for both and it really comes across. I can see why he is such a successful coach and recruiter. Mickey's the type of coach I would want to play for. I still want us to hire the best coaches possible but I have softened a little if they hire someone with the Husker Passion Mickey has. If Frost was let go and they decided to promote Mickey to Head Coach I might actually be behind that. Mickey is a natural leader that players will gravitate to. I don't think a Head Coach needs to be the best Offensive or Defensive Mind. I think they need to be the best leader. Hire quality Asst Coaches so you can concentrate on the big picture.

It didn't take Mickey long to be ALL N on Nebraska either.
AND he's a good proven WR coach.

This should be a home run hire.

Boy the new coaching hires did more quality recruiting in a month or so than the returning staff did in a year. Some very nice late additions to the RB, QB & WR rooms. GBR
A revamped specialist group as well.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Kid that wanted to get out of Nebraska ends up going to Laramie, Wyoming
