Funny somewhat related story. My wife is the ultimate planner. She's been planning my daughter's graduation this spring since last spring. Buying decorations, making things, etc. The theme is Fiesta. Mexican food, little fake cactus and all sorts of things.

My daughter came home a couple weeks ago and says....we need to change the theme of the party. I learned about cultural appropriation today in class and after discussing it with some of my friends we decided it was inappropriate to have a Fiesta themed party.

I laughed, went to the basement and turned the TV up really loud.
