Yes, Franklin has always been dodgy AF and does not get nearly enough scrutiny for it.
He kicked them off the football team in the Summer. I'm not sure he needs to address it any further. I will defend Franklin in this situation.
Ya I don’t like Franklin but this seems like bloodthirsty journalist knowingly harassing him with questions he’s not allowed to answer. Like we just saw Satterfield puke all over the microphone when talking about something he “understands”. These guys are meat heads that have no business speaking on legal issues.
He easily could have had a statement prepared, made it and then refused to comment any further given the ongoing legal proceedings. The way he handled it was completely stupid, chickenshit and just ended up attracting way more negative attention to himself and his program.

Agreed, Ian's commentary is kind of stupid.
But it does look bad for Franklin to just walk away, instead of just saying "these guys are no longer on the team. As it's an ongoing legal matter, I will have no public comment beyond the statement that's already been released."
