SEC moving towards 9 game conference schedules

When they get a new media contract the SEC will use the 9th conference game as leverage to get a bigger deal. They'd be playing 9 conference games now if ESPN would have paid more for it, the SEC isn't going to do it for free.

I'm glad SEC and Big Ten will be on the same page with this, but I wish they both landed on 8 conference games instead. I like having more unusual matchups. Oh well, it's all gonna be a whole different thing soon anyway.
