I'm no expert but with 8 seconds left why wouldn't you just take a knee? I'm sure the QB feels like a dumbass, but why would the coaches call a play?

It was 4th down. Hell he could have ran out of the back of the endzone or punted. There are so many things SDSU did to fuck up that game.
