If anything this is a good social experiment to see if practicality wins out over conspiracy - or vice versa.

My wife is the biggest conspiracy theorist. Drives me crazy at times, but there are times she is right. But most of the time I look at her like WTF, that's a stretch.

Not to hijack the topic. But I have couple friends that buy into almost every damn conspiracy theory and it’s so annoying. And all it takes for them is to be right 1 out of 10 times and they act like they’re always right.

I honestly tell them they’re stupid AF on a regular basis.

That's fair and makes sense. I mean Dylan is hurt and it's hard to be sidelined and watch your replacement do well. I do believe Dylan is a team player and is working hard to support Lateef as he wants Nebraska to be successful. Say what you will about Dylan, he is a competitor and has worked hard and has improved. He has shown to this point that he is very supportive.

Also, I’m definitely not in the anti-Dylan crowd or the “we hope he transfers” crowd. As I’ve said before I’m not making any decisions between who’s better TJ or Dylan until I’ve seen more from TJ. And I also think keeping both, somewhat unlikely I know, would be the best outcome IMO.

Also just recap, the theory is that Rhule ran a huge media blitz to announce he’s staying, but then changes his mind 2 weeks later and uses a Lincoln based company to charter the flight to State College, despite the fact that he’s going to be in town less than a week later and could easily meet face to face then?

Yeah, I don't know how you can say that TJ is better after 1 game. He beats PSU and Cockeye - different story. Or goes for 400+ yards against PSU and Cockeye and win at least one or both, it should be evident.

That said, I personally like how he's able to move around in the pocket and use his legs on occasion....and the eye test matters. For all we know he could throw 3 picks in each of the next two games.

The silence from Dylan is strange. One would think, if this was a personal decision on Dayton’s part and nothing more, Dylan would post something affirming his commitment/desire to remain at Nebraska. Too much damn silence from all relevant parties… Rhule, Dylan, Dom etc…

Why? Because folks on the internet are playing ‘Connect the non existent dots?'

Dylan not commenting on his brother’s decommitment means nothing at this point. He’s already a scholarship athlete at NU.

Rhule doesn’t need to comment, he needs to work on getting the team ready for Saturday.

I believe Dayton bailed cuz of future playing time & Rhule has decided he no longer needs to bend over backwards to keep Raiola fam happy so they didn’t get fed any bs on the visit.

Dylan likely loses money if he leaves(look at Nico) & Dylan/uncle Donnie have both underperformed for what Nebraska has invested in a five star recruitment/NIL.

If Rhule puts his nuts on the table & tells em he’s making changes, we either save NIL/potentially get more value with another QB or Dylan/dom are on board & Rhule can make the changes needed to improve the team.

The really weird thing, aside from timing, is that Rhule flew out to Dayton’s game at Buford. Could’ve saved NU a trip and focus on another recruit but maybe it just hit him.
