Rhule moving bench to the west sideline starting 2024.

It's easy for me to remember the cold games I attended in Lincoln but not so much the hot ones.

The two hot ones of note for me were a 1985 loss to FSU when I was a kid and a 1998 beat down of Washington. Outside of that, it seemed like any 90+ temp games were against Directional State.

The game where westerkamp caught the ball behind his back was scorching hot

Solich's debut as HC against La Tech was hotter than hell

The worst thing about that KC game in 06 was the snow in the stands. By the 3rd quarter it had melted and turned to ice on my socks. Was not prepared at all for that with wearing sneakers and maybe 2 pairs of socks.

Hottest game I remember was Wyoming with Josh Allen as their QB. Spent a good portion of that game throwing up mainly because of how hot it was. I drank too much but wouldn't have thrown up if not for the heat.

It's a good move. BUT...

There goes my favorite past-time of walking behind the visitor sideline and talking an insane amount of shit, following it up with a "but Good luck today, boys"

For cold the 06 conference title game was miserable

That KC game was awful

There were old people sitting behind us so we couldn’t stand up and move. Just had to sit there while our feet froze in the ice

If you were young then, it means you're old now. #hasitbeenthatlong
