Anyone been to the one in Omaha in May? How is it? I've been to the KC Ren Fest a few times, enjoyed my time thoroughly.

And if any of you fuckers think it's gay (not that there is anything wrong with that), but you haven't lived until you've gotten drunk at a Ren Fest and hurled tomatoes at some poor schmuck locked in the stalks.

First time I went was in high school. English class field trip. Was okay. Then in college we went and was fun as shit, basically got hammered, hit on wenches with their tits popping out, talked a lot of shit to the knights jousting, hurled tomatoes at a dude. Very enjoyable time.

We’ve been to the Ren Festival in Chaska, MN three times over the years. They call this booth “Vegetable Justice”. So fucking funny.

Gotta have the right guy on the receiving end of the tomatoes. He needs to be Don Rickles-like. Too funny.

The Festival in Chaska (MN) advertises themselves as the largest Ren Fest in the country. U of Minn theatre students are everywhere (in costume, of course).

The site they have is massive compared to the one near Omaha or Larkspur. Every third booth is food or booze. Jousting, jugglers, various theatre, comedians (Puke & Snot) and other fun shit.

Chaska is so big it’s near impossible to cover it all in one day.
