Yeah, it's ugly on both fronts. According to Dean though, this situation is "unique" to Nebraska b/c we couldn't have visitors, so we need to see how it plays out. Unique? What a shitty way to explain it when everyone is in the same boat.

Was listening to Schaefer on the ticket a little while ago and he said Gavin Meyer has cancelled his visit this weekend and it is unclear if he would be rescheduling....

I suppose he could reschedule, but Schaefer didn't sound real optimistic that'd be the case. We are just slaaaayin the 500 mile radius....

Over 300 prospects are expected to attend FIU's camp on Tuesday, which marks the first day of the NCAA's contact period following a 15-month temporary recruiting dead period. Working alongside Butch Davis and his staff at the camp will be assistants from Nebraska, Indianus, Florida and Purdoodoo as the Panthers aren't afraid to open up their doors to others.

Would seem to indicate we viewed him as a path to Kanak IMO. People have been saying he didn't have a green light to commit and may have already if he did.

I suppose that's possible, but then they offered Applegate today who is almost a certainty to commit. Applegate over Meyers? Probably taking 4ish LBs. Hausmann, Applegate, and guessing 2 more. It doesn't add up for me. I'm just speculating. Plus, I've always been of the opinion if you have a shot at good 500 mile radius prospects you do what you gotta do to get them N.
