I would just add that regardless of what their “philosophy” was regarding adding through the transfer portal going into this is likely to be changed by the forcing function of attrition through it. At some point they need players at the positions where they are thin.

I know it's kind of tough to look at it this way, especially with all the bad news coming hour after hour, but this isn't really Rhule's recruiting class. These are all Frost recruits. Whatever we salvage is ok, but whatever we lose should be expected. Rhule will bring in his own dudes in the next cycle and that will give us a clearer picture of the type of recruiters he and his staff are. This "try to build a relationship in 10 days" is a crap shoot at best.
