What I heard is they weren't really scholarship offers. They were offers to come to the camp/visit. His dad owns Battle so that might have got him into camps and stuff that he wouldn't have got into otherwise. Based on dad's height it would be surprising if he ever reached 5'10".

That's basically what I've heard too. I don't think he even was a full time starter at Burkes freshman team before transferring.
