Raiola transfer article

Programs should sign 1-5 year contracts with players, depending on their value and years of eligibility remaining. If a player decides to leave early, they or their new program pays up. If the program cuts someone loose, program pays up.
Personally, I'd rather just lock both sides into whatever deal they sign.

You can lose the “bordering” part above. It’s full and complete chaos. Giving infinite power and money of a billion dollar industry to the 18-22 year olds is like making a chimpanzee with a shotgun ceo of a Fortune 500 corporation.
I wonder when. And I wonder who. Sometime in the not so distant future a University will scrap football all together. Take a look at Colorado and tell me they wouldn't be better off without a football team.

I don't see any QB getting $5 million this off season, with the current rules, and really a lack of true difference makers changing teams I just don't see it. Louisville certainly isn't going to give Raiola $5 million.

I think the Raiola's overvalued the market and are going to be in a Nico situation this offseason.

I'm waiting for a school like CU, Wazzu or Oregon St to drop football (or move down to FCS) and go all in on basketball. in terms of return on investment there's a lot less risk and they can build a contender with half of what they spend to be an afterthought in football

I think realistically we just have to ask ourselves what future model for college sports get Saudi/Qatari bucks involved the most and then we have our answer for where we're headed

Daddy thinks he’ll get $5million, he’ll either get it or be a problem at FBS stop #2, likely leading to FBS stop #3.

At times during his Freshman year I was positive the kid would be a 1st round draft pick and leave early. Now he needs a big Junior year to land in the first three rounds.

If someone pays 5 million for DR they deserve whatever shit storm comes with it. I can’t believe anyone would pay that much for him. But like I said before, it just takes 1 dumbass to believe he’s worth that.

Most teams have around $20 million to work with and giving 1/4 of your total revenue share to 1 player is asinine. Especially when that player is Dylan Raiola.

I hope he goes to Louisville and he does Papa John's commercials, will laugh my ass off.

Until this shit show gets reigned in there’s only one little word that will help mitigate this cluster fuck…
NO. Coaches need to start telling these kids “No”. No, you’re not worth 5 million a year. No, you’re not coming here for anywhere near that dollar amount and No, I don’t care if you don’t like it and think you can do better. Then go for it Ace, cause I ain’t the one.

These coaches need to sack up and start telling these little punks NO!

Over/under on whether Dylan changes his hairstyle and number for his new landing spot?

Redoes his image to reshape the narrative?

He’s gonna transfer to a west coast school and walk around with a flower necklace like Mariota
