Raiola - Fibula

No they didn't.

RUN THREAT: Smith scrambled for 253 yards and averaged 7.2 yards per scramble in 2012. But the run wasn't a big part of the system for the Mountaineers. Smith attempted only 11 designed rushes in 2012 and averaged 2.6 yards per rush on those carries. Jets perspective: After drafting Smith, the Jets indicated they could install some read-option packages for him.
was he asking about designed QB runs or RPO?

I was about to say I watched a lot of those geno WV games and he was not a runner

If you look at what USC did when Lateef came in..... They played a lot of man to man and loaded the box to take away EJ. Our receivers had a difficult time getting seperation.
Is that true?

Here are his yards per rush after Lateef came in:
5, 6, 6, 1, 23, 8, 13, 4, 5, 0. He averaged over 7 yards a carry AFTER Raiola got hurt. Could of easily rode Johnson to victory but our coaching staff is retarded

He had 342 rushing yards over 4 years at WVU

44 games played 342 rushing yards = 7.7 yards per game
yep.

RPO doesn't always mean QB runs. Dana likes to use his RBs as the 'run' option.

here's a breakdown of one of Dana's favorite RPO concepts at West Va, something we still see in our playbook today:

They did play man coverage. And we did run the ball effectively, which should worry ucla. Having a running threat at qb could open things up for Johnson even more. I honestly believe our offense will be better by the time we get to the Cockeye game.

I don't disagree with this take. Although I wouldn't say with certainty the offense will be more productive...but maybe tougher to defend.

I'd like to see a few more carries from Mozee and Nelson to get them experience if EJ goes down. It seems the carries that Mozee receive are designed specifically for him. Not sure if that's why he seems to do pretty well when he gets a carry or two. Especially as of very recent.

Re-watching it, it was such a weird play. We had 8 guys blocking six defenders with two receivers going out, neither of which were open.

I’ll put you down as a no.
