Raiola - Fibula

Going to force Holgorsen to trust Lateef. We didn’t give him much of a chance last night. He can be a lot better. The one downfield pass they let him throw actually looked great.

We aren’t better off without Raiola, but we aren’t nearly as bad off as the effort last night made it seem.

How could you possibly know that? He struggled with basic QB stuff that absolutely cost them points/1st downs.

I don’t think it’s a stretch to believe he will be better when he’s not coming in cold for his first meaningful action, when they hopefully build a game plan for him, when he takes all of the snaps in practice, and when his OC is forced to show some confidence that he can help them win a game.

Raiola also struggled with the basic stuff of holding on to the ball which cost ius a chance at 2-score lead.

Even guys who have started 20+ games fuck up. Lateef is at the very beginning of his arc.

Man we’re asking a lot of a true freshman QB who is decent but not a great player. Also he’s little and needs time in S&C. I don’t get the bitching about him being in and not being able to execute the game plan they had for DR last night.

We were, as Aerosmith would say, "Living on the edge" with Dylan getting hit so many times. I'm surprised he lasted this long TBH.

Lots of teams have to deal with these things, time to TJ to step up and become a CFB God.
Kenny Dillingham got a win in a road game against future NFL hall of famer Matt Campbell with Jeff fucking Sims at QB.

I’ve been hating on Lateef, but I do think he’ll look better with a full week of prep tailored to his skill set
Yeah, I'm happy to have Lateef, but he's got some work before he's ready to be a big-time P2 starter.

That said, with prep & a tailored game plan, he does have some tricks in his bag, and I think we can patchwork a scheme together if the rest of the team is holding up & TJ doesn't have to go win it himself.
