Offensive Player of the Week
RB - Jordan Nubin, Minnesota (SO)

- Ran the ball 40 times for 204 yards and two touchdowns, leading Minnesota to a 27-12 win over Michigan State
- His yardage total was the most for a Minnesota player since Mohamed Ibrahim ran for 263 yards versus Cockeye on Nov. 19, 2022 and is the 28th-highest in program history
- Recorded career-highs with 40 carries and 204 yards, and scored his first two career touchdowns
- The Academic All-Big Ten honoree earns his first career Offensive Player of the Week award
- Last Minnesota Offensive Player of the Week: Mohamed Ibrahim (Nov. 20, 2022)

Defensive Player of the Week
DL - Aidan Hubbard, Northwestern (JR)

- Posted 3.0 sacks, 3.0 tackles for loss and five total tackles in Northwestern's 33-27 win against Maryland
- Hubbard's 3.0 sacks are tied for the single-game high by a Big Ten player this year, which is also tied for the seventh-highest single game total nationally
- His 3.0 sacks are the second-most in a single game in school history, and the most since the school record was set at 4.0 in 2016
- Earns the first Defensive Player of the Week award of his career

Special Teams Player of the Week
CB - Quinton Newsome, Nebraska (SR)

- Scored a touchdown on a 68-yard return of a blocked field goal in the third quarter to give Nebraska a three-touchdown lead, marking the first touchdown of his career
- Recovered a fumble in the first quarter to end a Purdue scoring threat, one of three Nebraska takeaways on the day, and also recovered a Nebraska fumble on a punt return attempt, preserving a Nebraska possession on its own 13-yard line in the first quarter
- Recorded five tackles for the third time this season
- Garners the first Special Teams Player of the Week honor of his career

Freshman of the Week
DB - Dillon Thieneman, Purdue (FR)

- Tied a school record with two forced fumbles, last accomplished by a Boilermaker in 2021, at Nebraska
- Led the Boilermakers with 12 tackles, his third game with double-digit tackles and first in a Big Ten game this season
- Made seven solo tackles, including 1.0 TFL, to remain in the Big Ten's leader in solo tackles and ranks second nationally
- Earns the third Freshman of the Week honor of his career
- Last Purdue Freshman of the Week: Dillon Thieneman (Oct. 9, 2023)
 
My Frost PTSD had me waiting for Hill to knock Newsome out of bounds trying to High Five and not score ☠️.
I thought Newsome was gonna go out of bounds on his own

The high fiving is hilarious and I’m happy they did it. Nice to see some of the older Frost recruits have some fun and get some wins while they’re here
 
Our last Special Teams PotW was Pickering in Frost's first year. That sounds about right.
